Anya Mousis

A Bahamian resident, Anya, is one of the newest members of the H.G. Christie Team. Anya obtained her pharmaceutical certification at the age of 16 before graduating from St. Andrews International High School.  She went on to study Pre-Pharmacy at Palm Beach Atlantic University for two years, before returning home to her beloved country.  Her passion for service lead Anya onto her next journey. 

Anya is no stranger to the global stage. As Miss Bahamas World 2007 she travelled extensively to represent her beloved country and to serve as the global brand ambassador for Diamonds International.  Anya’s travels have taken her to many places such as New York, Las Vegas, St. Martin, Puerto Rico, Sanya and Hong Kong.  During her travels, Anya forged lasting relationships with her sister queens from around the world and expanded her global network.

After her reign, Anya walked gracefully into the world of marriage and motherhood. She is the mother to three amazing boys.  Over the years she has remained in love with the pageant world and gives back to that community by offering her time and judicious eye as a judge for numerous Miss Teen and Miss Bahamas pageants.

It was her love of food and passion for service that led her to a career in the hospitality industry. Anya leveraged her work at Athena Café as the Operations Manager and gained vast experience in the field of hospitality when she joined the team at The Rosewood at Baha Mar as Food and Beverage Manager and then was invited to join the team at The Rosewood Sandhill in Menlo Park, California.  

As there is no place like home, Anya returned to The Bahamas to continue in the position of Operations Manager at Athena Café.

Anya’s training and background in the hospitality industry has provided her with well rounded expertise in business operations including Management, Accounting, and Human Resources. Believing in the power of knowledge, she reinforced these skills by pursuing hospitality and revenue management courses with Cornell University. These transferable experiences will continue to bode well for Anya as she transitions to her lifelong dream as a real estate professional.

Already working as a sales and rental assistant to one of the top producing luxury agents, Anya is acquiring extensive knowledge of the luxury real estate market and understanding of the clients’ needs. Anya takes on challenges with tenacity and focus which are abilities needed to become a leader in the real estate field.

Anya demonstrates a profound commitment to the highest professional standards and adherence to the regulations and prevailing legislation of The Bahamas Real Estate Association. Anya is pleasant, professional, hard-working, enthusiastic, and organized.

In her free time Anya enjoys spending quality timе with family, baking sweet treats and playing tennis.
